Interview
Digital Payments

We talked to Jeff Kreisler, Editor-in-Chief PeopleScience, co-author of ‘Dollars and Sense: How We Misthink Money and How to Spend Smarter’, Speaker and Behavioral Science Advocate. Asked how behavioural economics can help people overcome their irrational financial behaviour, Jeff Kreisler was adamant fintech can make a positive difference.

"Those very tools that can make spending easier can also make saving and investing easier and make it so that we have a brighter future. The fintech industry has an opportunity to be a real touchpoint, a place of trust, literally right in people's hands to advise them about their financial future. People are scared and confused about financial choices, and fintech could be right there providing the advice and the nudges to help them make better decisions for the long term," says Jeff Kreisler.
