Inge K. Hansen, Interim Chairman of Nets, said: "After guiding Nets for a number of years and having worked for a long period on the transaction that successfully closed on 9 July 2014, Mette Kamsvåg has decided that this is the appropriate time to hand over to a new leader. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank her for her many years of hard work with the group. She was instrumental in the 2010 merger between BBS and PBS and has lead the Group through a series of successful acquisitions, leaving Nets a major player with 2,600 employees and offices in 5 countries.
I am delighted to be able to announce the internal promotion of Bo Nilsson from CFO to CEO. Bo's track record and proven abilities as a skilled manager and strategic thinker will be invaluable to his leadership as the company implements the investments needed to ensure it continues to be a trusted partner for its customers."
Bo Nilsson, CEO, said: "Having worked for the company for over a year, I know from first-hand experience that Nets is a fantastic business with a leading market position and talented staff so I am delighted to take up this new role. I recognise the challenge of remaining at the forefront of this rapidly changing industry, as well as the opportunity to strengthen both the company's footprint and service proposition. I look forward to working closely with our customers, employees, strategic partners and the board to continue making Nets a stronger and better business."
Mette Kamsvåg, outgoing CEO, said: "I have very much enjoyed leading the business through a period of significant change over the last few years and I believe this is the right moment for me to hand over responsibility. Bo Nilsson and I have worked together closely so I am confident he will successfully lead the group through the next stage of its journey."
