Nets and Finnair has signed a contract for acquiring services. Nets will now be settling Finnair’s card payment transactions for payments made in euros both domestically and internationally. Finnair is a network airline specialised in flying passengers and cargo between Asia and Europe.
“Airlines have their own particular requirements when it comes to payments, and Nets was able to use its broad range of services to find solutions to suit Finnair’s demanding payment environments. The implementation project went particularly well,” says Jesse Partinen, Account Director at Nets, continuing “this is an important contract for us, and we have high expectations regarding the growth of card payment volumes in the future.”
"Our goal is always to provide our customers with an easy and smooth customer experience. Payment cards are a natural and uncomplicated payment method for our customers," says Finnair’s Cash Director Mervi Mäkelä. "We always choose our partners carefully. I believe that our partnership with Nets is going to be good and comfortable as the well begun implementation period has shown us," Mäkelä adds.
