Press release 09-03-2015

Asger Hattel is leaving TDC to take over responsibility for Merchant Services at Nets – the part of Nets’ business covering terminals, e-commerce and financial acquiring.

Bo Nilsson, CEO of Nets, says:
- We are very pleased to get Asger on board. We see great potential for growth in Merchant Services and we believe that Asger is the right leader, together with a team of talented and dedicated employees, to realise that growth potential.

Asger Hattel says:
- It is great to become a part of Nets. It is a very exciting company with perhaps some of the strongest capabilities and solutions within the entire digital payment industry. I look forward to getting to know the industry and the Merchant Services team and together with them to build Nets as an even more attractive partner for businesses all over the Nordic region.

Asger Hattel will take over from Peter Wiren, who has chosen to leave Nets.

Asger Hattel, aged 43, joins Nets after 5½ years at TDC, where he leaves a position as Senior Executive Vice President with responsibility for TDC's Wholesale business and its Nordic business. Previously in his career, Asger has held positions in McKinsey & Co. as associate partner and in Great Nordic (GN) as VP/Country Man. Director. Asger Hattel is MSc in business economics from Aarhus University.
