​With the BS One-off API, you can offer your customers easier and faster one-off payment in addition to Betalingsservice onboarding when purchasing goods or services through your webshop, call center or face-to-face. Furthermore, you can offer a standalone one-off payment for ad-hoc payment outside your normal billing cycle.

The business benefits added to Betalingsservice with the BS One-off API are better cash-flow, higher BS onboarding rate and better customer experience.

This API is intended for Creditors or Merchants wanting to do initial payments as part of the Betalingsservice onboarding process or ad-hoc payments outside their normal billing cycle. Authentication and approval of payments and mandates by your customer take place within Betalingsservice App.
​This service enables you to push a Collection Request carrying a one-off payment method, with an optional mandate creation command for authorization via Betalingsservice App. The payment and mandate will only be processed after your customer has authorized the Collection Request in Betalingsservice App.​

The API applies in scenarios where:

When a collection request has been approved by your customer, you will at any point be able to check the status of your payment and mandate using get status of collection request. Alternatively, use the callback.
An additional resource, debtor check, exists to mitigate possible churn scenarios when you conduct time-sensitive payments. This resource offers you the possibility to check if potential customers are onboarded in Betalingsservice App.​

​​Use case scenario:​​​

Helen X wants to buy a smartphone and a mobile plan at Telefonica.com. She selects a smartphone and a plan before she select that payment is to be made with Betalingsservice. Helen X is notified about the pending notification by the BS app, she opens the app, reviews and approves the payment and mandate. When Helen X has approved the mandate request Telefonica gets an instant call-back with a status update.     ​​
