DNB opens up to Nets Share using e-Boks

(Oslo, 31 January 2012) From this spring onwards, DNB customers will be given the opportunity to use e-Boks. Among other things, this means that account statements and other information from the bank can be sent and archived securely in e-Boks as well as at DNB online banking.

“This means that Norway’s largest bank has enabled over two million customers to make use of our services,” says Sigbjørn Larsen, Nets Press Manager. e-Boks is being taken into use in late January/early February and those DNB customers who are interested will be able to receive documents from DNB during the spring. Nets is selling access to e-Boks through Nets Share. Nets Share covers complete distribution solutions with a large number of different distribution channels. e-Boks is one such channel. Other channels include various print channels and e-mail solutions.

“e-Boks has a great deal of experience in providing services to banks and the financial sector in Scandinavia. Over 20,000 companies and more than six million users have taken advantage of the service since its launch in 2001,” says Robert Eikheim, head of e-Boks in Norway. With e-Boks, users can easily receive and store important digital documents from banks, insurance companies, telecoms operators, utility companies and public authorities, for example, efficiently and securely in a single digital mailbox. Robert Eikheim encourages those who are interested to contact e-Boks for more information.
